Another big release week for the first week of June.  Some great stuff here and, let’s be honest, a bunch of shit you’re never going to listen to.

I’ve loved Vader for years. Something about a band that existed behind the iron curtain, struggling to create extreme art, and coming out from behind the wall with something the world at large enjoys is truly an accomplishment. The one consistent complaint I’ve had is their logo. It looks like it was designed by a four-year-old with crayons and no lines to stay between. That being said, I’ve been a bit torn on this album. Upon first listen, I was ready to give up and walk away. The band just seemed to be trying too hard. Behemoth released their most blasphemous album to date, and Vader appeared to be left in the dust.

The Vader jam, Triumph of Death is now streaming. The track comes off the band’s new album Tibi Et Igni, which is out June 3rd on Nuclear Blast USA.

Kreator announced their European tour for 2014 today.  It’s an amazing lineup.  Let’s hope it can make it’s way to the states!
